A well-stocked kitchen or pantry rests on two key things: good shopping and lots of storage. Homelife have come up with a quick and easy way to make a note of what you’ve stored, and when.
1. Collect jars – Gather a range of simple glass storage jars (preferably with secure, rubber seals).
2. Paint – Then create a mini-blackboard on each jar with blackboard paint (Homelife used White Knight Chalkboard Paint).
3. Write – Keep a box of chalk handy, and simply note the contents and expiry date each time you fill the jar.
The beauty of this system is its endless flexibility – details can be changed with a quick wipe, and the label will never wear out.
